Setup Steps

Step 1: WhatsApp Business Account

Create a WhatsApp Business account or use your existing account.

  • Download WhatsApp Business app
  • Create account with your business phone number
  • Complete your business profile (logo, description)
  • Add catalog and services

Step 2: Facebook Business Manager

Create Facebook Business Manager account to access WhatsApp Business API.

  • Go to business.facebook.com
  • Create business account or use existing account
  • Add your WhatsApp Business account
  • Complete business verification

Step 3: WhatsApp Business API

Activate WhatsApp Business API and configure webhook settings.

  • Go to Meta for Developers platform
  • Add WhatsApp Business API product
  • Configure webhook URL
  • Create message templates
  • Configure API permissions

Step 4: Access Token and Webhook

Generate permanent access token for WhatsApp Business API and verify webhook.

  • Create System User
  • Grant required permissions (whatsapp_business_messaging)
  • Generate access token
  • Verify webhook setup
  • Send test message

Step 5: Integration with Fluxent

Connect your WhatsApp account from Fluxent dashboard and activate the chatbot.

  • Go to Fluxent Dashboard > Settings > Integrations
  • Find WhatsApp section and click "Connect" button
  • Paste your Access Token
  • Enter your WhatsApp phone number
  • Verify with "Test Connection"
  • If successful, click "Save" button
